Our Frank Bears Introducing
Black Francis, or Frank, our gentle house cat
Is carbon black with just an auburn trace
An accent to his lithesome figure that
Will shimmer when he walks in regal grace.
His hips are slim, the scruff of neck is full,
With growls both low and scratchy, hard to hear,
Is eager as a feline his next lull,
He dominates our dog and her good cheer.
He’s the softest guy you ever could adopt,
With his penchant for friendly affection
He’ll sidle up close and next thing he’s flopped
And gives his throat and gut for attention.
His misbehavior near his dining hours
An unforgiven smear his whining mars.
